Lead Pharmacist
About the Role:
Family Care Medical is looking for a full-time Lead Pharmacist to join our team and be responsible for the operations of our pharmacies. This role will follow pharmacy professional practice and manage regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management and development, inventory management, financial profitability, and loss prevention. The goal of this role will improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing clinic pharmacy leadership to ensure quality patient care and financial viability.
Responsibilities:
- Daily management, staffing, and operation of all aspects of pharmaceutical service delivery.
- Management of all drug and consumables procurement, storage, prescribing, dispensing, and monitoring of utilization and adverse drug reactions.
- Consulting with patrons and clients as well as lead the customer satisfaction experience and product sales
- Gathering customer feedback and track sales
- Coordinating with other team members in areas such as prescribing practice, procurement management, and wholesaling of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
- As the organization grows, you may be required to build and manage a team.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (BPharm)
- 5+ years of pharmacy management experience
- Prior experience in a community pharmacy setting is required
